It seems that at the moment, the most convenient software for development is Unreal Engine. I worked with Unity for a long time and thought it was the perfect engine, but when I switched to Unreal, I realized I was very much mistaken. I've tried working with UE4 and it's probably the coolest game engine. I even tried to remake maps from tf2 on this engine.
