Scent of a Woman.
This film is about a combat veteran who lost his sight during war.
Though handecapped, he is still charming, smart and able to perform many normal activities, yet too independent, cynical, unhappy and held grudge to the tragedy that happened in his life. An unxperienced young man showed him that people cares about him, he shouldnt hold grudge about his tragedy and should move forward for other people.

This film is about not giving up toward problem and shifting focus from oneself to other.

This film has notorious scene when the blind Lt. Col. Slade able to tango with a fine young lady across the hall in front of audiences. Tango is somewhat a complex dance.

Hello Chen, in this chance  i want share one of my favourite drama film, based on real life experienced from the poor family in financial aspect that live in a small village   foot of a Gunung Panderman, but really have good souls and manner, this family have five children ( 4 daughters and 1 son). On this film shown how Iwan Setiawan the youngest child , who excellent in Academy and study especially on Math and science that struggling to graduate from ITB University as best student who made proud his parents , then he started work in local company first..shortly could show his quality and one day met opportunity work at "Big Apple" Company from his friend that live in New York to work there,after years by years he succeed help find better livelihood for his family, for his better life and never leaving behind God and always loving his family .

from this film i learned many meaning of life,one of it how education who can stretch way out of suffering , with a willingness to attempted, good behaviours , determined combine with knowledges and keep humble , never forget where we come from or what we are before..
and you will achieves a true happiness in your life !

I like the magic that showed at film Now you See me 2....very Entertaining.... If you See from the beginning u will be amazed how the story developed from simple trick,  hipnotizm until the revealed grand scheme to trick the bad guys... If you See that film you will remember film mission imposible because every character showed best Skill to do their job (by magic)  and their Team work finished the job wonderfulll... I like the film So much... I hope you liked it too

My favorite movie is "CON AIR'. Why? It's great movie. It's show us about loving family, loyalty to friends, courage beyond everything and most important thing is 'Being Good Person'. A good person will always be a good person no matter where,when or what you are. That's what Former Army Ranger Cameron Poe (Nicolas Cage) did in the movie, prisoner who become hero.

Movie: Godfather

My all time favorite got to be Godfather, all of it. Part 1, 2, and 3.
It's not about the violence or crimes. Its about the rules they obeyed on. The traditions and "family values". Its also show an emotional part of a mafia. How when the head of the mafia lost his eldest child who was a hot-headed. And at the end, it took his youngest yet widest son to take over as the don (head of the mafia).

The code they live in, also known as Omerta. Code of Omerta were to be put into words, it would say something like this:-
"Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without police protection is both. It is cowardly to betray an offender to justice, even though his offenses be against yourself, as it is not to avenge an injury by violence. It is dastardly and contemptible in a wounded man to betray the name of his assailant, because if he recovers, he must naturally expect to take vengeance himself. A wounded man shall say to his assailant: If I live, I will kill you - If I die you are forgiven."
It's words that is so simple yet so deadly.

In some ways, it does narrates the classic Romance of the three kingdoms. Where plots, bravery, loyalty are involved. It's not just about bashing, killings.

PS: a must watch for those who hasnt got the chance.....simply classic ;)

Tough call between 'Requiem for a Dream' and 'The Wrestler'!

Have to go with Requiem for a Dream. First movie I dont think I blinked once during the first time watching.

Its a fascinating story of addiction and its downward spiral. The delusion that each character shares that if oinly they had one hit, one more pound lost, one more dollar they'll reach bliss and never return to the darkness of their lives/addiction.  In the end the price of their addiction breaks them all. Not a cheery story but by far the most memorable film I've seen

Strongly recommend all CoTK players watch(fellow addicts)

my Favorite film is Heavenly Sabre and Dragon Blade.

The Heavenly Sword and Dragon Sabre takes place during 14th Century China during the Mongolian Yuan Dynasty, roughly 100 years after the events of Return of the Condor Heroes. After decades of struggles, famine, and bitterness which the Chinese citizens blamed on the Yuan Dynasty's misgovernment, the Martial Arts sects have begun to rebel. Prince Ruyang asks Cheng Kun, a Shaolin monk with an ulterior motive, for a plan on how to deal with the rebels. "The wielder of Heavenly Sword and/or Dragon Sabre rules the world." This well known legend in the Martial Arts community is the impetus for the tale of Zhang Wuji. The story begins with how his parents met, then tells his trials as an adolescent, proceeds to relate his rise to prominence and reveals the secret behind Heavenly Sword and Dragon Sabre and ends with the confluence of Wuji's love life, the Martial Arts sects' long standing grudges, and cruel fate..

The movie starts with the potrayal of an aging ZhaoYun surrounded by enemies (Wei Forces) at a mountain named Phoenix Heights. While waiting for his final battle, he begins to see flash back of his career as a Shu Solider and General.

Luo Ping An(fictitious character), a recruitment officer of Liu Bei’s forces met young Zhao Yun who seek enlistment. The two soon became friends in their soldiering career and reveal their ambitions to each other. Zhao Yun first victory begins with the invasion of Cao Cao’s forces onto their defence parameter. With the aid of Zhu Ge Liang’s strategy, Zhao Yun killed enemy commander and saved Luo Ping An in the process.

Despite the victory, Liu Bei’s forces was overwhelmed by Cao Cao’s troops and began their retreat to the mountain, Phoenix Heights. Luo Ping An, who was given the duty to escort Liu Bei’s family members, lost both Liu Bei’s wives and son. An infuriated Zhang Fei then attacked Luo Ping An but was stopped by Zhao Yun. Guan Yu joined Zhang Fei to fight Zhao Yun but was unable to defeat him. Zhao Yun then volunteered to retreive Liu Bei’s family members and succeed in saving Liu Bei’s son, Ah Dou. In the process, he fended off numerous Cao Cao’s troops alone and left an impression on Cao Cao’s granddaughter, Cao Yin (fictitious character). After the battle, Zhao Yun rose rapidly to fame and started an relationship with a woman in his hometown.

My favorite movie: KungFu Panda 3
Living large and loving life, Po (Jack Black) realizes that he has a lot to learn if he's going to fulfill the next challenge from his beloved instructor (Dustin Hoffman). After reuniting with his long-lost father (Bryan Cranston), Po must transition from student to teacher and train a group of fun-loving, clumsy pandas to become martial-arts fighters. Together, the kung-fu brethren unite to take on the evil Kai (J.K. Simmons), a supernatural warrior who becomes stronger with each battle.

The most favourite movie for me is 'Kuch kuch Hota Hai'.

Why? Cause this movie starring by Hindustan best actor (Syah Rukh Khan). And the most important why i verry like this movie cause the story in this movie have a same story like i ever had. Maybe not just me, i think many of you ever feel same with it. You have friend, care bout her, like her, and spend a lot of time with her. You think it's call best friendship and you dont realize the truth is you need and love her a lot till everythings to late.

Inspiring morale from this movie is: if you love someone told her/him. Dont be scare you'll rejected or anything. Cause you never know what you have till you lost it.

I want to share the movie "The Lost Bladesman". It is a historical war and biopic action film loosely based on the story of Guan Yu crossing five passes and slaying six generals.

Liu Bei lost contact with Guan Yu and his family, including his concubine Qilan, were staying in Cao Cao's base together with Guan Yu. When Guan Yu received news that Liu Bei had taken shelter under Yuan Shao, he negotiated with Cao Cao to release Liu's family. Cao Cao's followers strongly opposed their lord's decision to allow Guan Yu to leave. Guan Yu encountered resistance and had to fight his way through the passes. Guan Yu slew Kong Xiu, Han Fu, Meng Tan, Bian Xi, Wang Zhi and Qin Qi. This part is the famous story that most Guan Yu fans would know.

I wish to highlight a sub plot. It is the part where Cao Cao found out that Guan Yu was secretly in love with Qilan. Cao Cao invited Guan Yu to drink  and feast to trick Guan into consuming food spiked with aphrodisiac. Meanwhile Qilan was laid immobilised on Guan Yu's bed. Cao Cao hope that Guan Yu would lose control and rape Qilan. Guan Yu started hallucinating but resisted the temptation to dishonour Qilan.



While people of previous generation would buy this story, I believe people of this day and age would not. Under those circumstances, do you think Guan Yu would toss virtue aside and take advantage of Qilan? I know many would. What about you GM Chen?

Looking at the actor and actress, this movie is call "Zi Long - God of War" or more appropriately 武神赵子龙. Maybe Dynasty Warriors by KOEI is very popular game in Indonesia so they use that as a title.
