You start in high school and may play one of NBA 2K MT 10 accredited schools prior to attaining the NBA. I would expect to find a departure or at least a separation of this narrative from the routine MyPlayer grind, but it seems we are sticking with the same formula.
The Neighborhood is currently called 2K Beach, so cosmetically, it'll seem a whole lot different. Beyond this, I wouldn't expect any significant differences besides maybe a few new patrons for the very same sorts of events that were in NBA 2K20. This is not horrible considering NBA 2K20's Neighborhood was probably the best-functioning iteration of this concept yet. This is becoming the lifeblood of this manner, much to my chagrin, but you may not the overall influence and genius behind the idea. I still sometimes marvel in the hoops world 2K has generated and their imprint on the culture throughout the neighborhood.
I would have loved to find some sort of championship or league-setup functionality, but that wasn't discussed prior launch. Those who also like the online team-up competitive arena will still live here. If you looked at all the modes across the board and attempted to judge which one will see the most noticeable improvements, I would expect it to be MyTeam.
The Seasons theory which converts the mode to Cheap MT 2K21 a live ceremony is intriguing. Also, the weekend events known as MyTeam Limited are a step in the right direction when it comes to a more structured encounter. There's also the new and mysterious Dark Matter term that could refer to a higher-level gem card or power-ups for gamers in your collection. Whatever the situation, 2K users who intend on updating to next-gen or so are only MyTeam junkies will likely feel the most functioned of all of the 2K sub-communities.
