The cities where plunder takes place for SHU is a bit unfair, for example, barbarians will attack the cities of Yunnan, Yuexi, Shushi and Hanyang which blocks the quickest path towards Wuyang forcing us to take the longer path thru Julan, whats worst is that if WU attempts to steal SHU's plunder, they can just take Wuyang and block Julan and SHU literally will not be able to stop them from robbing the southern parts of their plunder such as Qinzang and Jianning. both WU and WEI'S plunder locations are more defendable than SHU's as it is deep within their own territory. SHU is forced to go pass multiple WEI or WU's cities, sometimes even their 30% or even 50% cities before they are able to reach their plunder while WU only has to take 1 city , Julan , Before they are able to start robbing SHU's plunder. they also have multiple paths where they can flank the other nations if they attempt to rob their plunders while SHU doesn't
SOLUTION: I think a good way to fix this problem would be to move SHU's plunder locations southward towards locations like Yongchang and Yongshou and away from cities like Hanyang and Shushi, this is fair because at least now SHU has another path which they can take if WU attempts to take their plunder. This is also fair to the other nations as they still have a chance to rob SHU's plunder only now they need to push deeper into SHU territory to do so
I know GM's probably have their hands full right now with the new version coming and everything. but i really hope they will take a look at this problem because having a disadvantage just because of your nations geography is something that the players themself can't fix and its also simplify just unfair.
