Creating your own ringtone is one of the easiest and cheapest ways to make your iPhone more personalized. You can use your ringtone as a caller tune, a reminder alert, or a voicemail alert. You can also edit your own ringtone by re-ordering the sounds or fading them out.
The first step in creating your own klingeltöne is to find the song you want to use. You can do this by finding it in your iTunes library. Or you can download it from Apple Music or another source. The song must be DRM-free. If you use DRM-protected songs to create your own ringtone, you can remove them.
Once you have found your song, you can either import it into iTunes or transfer it from your computer to your iPhone. You will need to have the song downloaded to your iPhone, as well as a USB connection.
Next, open GarageBand. This free app allows you to play and record a song. The software can also be used to edit the song, split it into sections, and add effects. You can also use it to record your own voice to a song.
Once you have finished recording your song, you can save it as a ringtone. You can do this by using the "Ctrl+C" command on a Mac or dragging the song file into the Tones section of iTunes.
