Yesterday we announced the theme of this month: hobbies and arts! And to start off, here is an interesting theory: there is a school of thought that suggests that, for a balanced life, it is best to try and have 5 different hobbies, one for each underlying reason.
The idea is that different hobbies are associated with different areas of personal growth, so it's best to diversify them.
For example, the simplest of them would be a hobby that keeps you in shape, and it can include any kind of sports and other physical activities, such as hiking or cycling. In my New Year's resolutions, I promised myself to do more swimming this year, let's see how things turn out. But I like to walk when I can, so I'm fine with that. And @Saka has kendo, so you can celebrate that too. Maybe someone else is engaged in other physical hobbies? Sports don't count in games!..or does it still count?
In addition, there are creative hobbies that are associated with everything creative, and it is really important to do something creative on a regular or semi-regular basis. Painting, sculpture, and even writing would be perfect here. @Saka, I remember you made that beautiful drawing in our Polish community for @Aaricia, how often do you draw?
