I’m coming up on getting a new hearing aid from the VA.  I am totally over the 312 battery.  I currently get about 2 days from my Signia Pure 312 7x hearing aids.  This is my first RIC hearing aid.  It isn’t all that great, except that it is the first time I have had a TV streamer, and WOW!  TV is back in my life.  I do stream a lot and this is probably the reason my batteries don’t last.  I had thought of the Oticon More, but I keep hearing numbers like 16 to 18 hours per charge.  That is not gonna get it for me.
Signia Motion X is supposed to have up to 60 hours?  but I think that is intended for folks with way worse hearing than me.  My audiogram does fit in the fitting guide for those, but I don’t know if it is advisable or not.
If I can’t get a long lasting rechargeable aid, maybe I’ll try for  BTE with large disbosable battery.
Thoughts?
Dan

I wear Phonak Paradise P90Rs from about 6 am to 10 pm. Haven’t run out of juice yet. I go to sleep, they go in the charger.

"Not so long ago, I started having hearing problems. My audiologist recommended Phonak to me. Phonak rechargeable hearing aids are the first hearing aids equipped with specially designed built-in lithium-ion batteries that allow you to hear well for 24 hours without interruption after just one charge. This is acceptable to me. Are you sure you need a device for 60 hours without recharging? I think that such devices are needed only for those who make long trips. You're mostly at home. Of course, I don't insist. I'm just advising you of an alternative that I know about."
