Your request is reasonable but we can not make strict rules of language used in game chat. And players have freedom to use the comfortable language they like to use, right? Of course we encourage players to use English in order to make more friends in game and communicate easily with all. But this is not a strict rule.

I can understand your perspective here, but it would be better if the language barrier can be solved. In my own experience, I saw many English spoken players got confused and caught in between when the players in the game refuse or can't even speak English to communicate. This resolving in many English speaking players quit the game as they seen it as a waste of time trying to play an English game with other online gamers who can't even converse in English.
Perhaps this issue should be looked throughout for the benefit of Heyshell, as players is needed to make the game lasts. Especially if we're talking about a higher buying power players, who are willing to spend their $$ to get into the game and unfortunately this is mostly are the ones who is English speaking, rather than those local language speakers.
Food for thought, eh?

Thanks for your suggestion. the language barrier is problem that is not easy to solve now. we serve and respect both of English speakers and local language speakers.

just an idea though, how about in creating a specific server with specific language rules, e.g to create S43 where the rules is to converse in English only, and any other language use will get censored or banned from the server? or how about an English Server tournament, where the use of English is mandatory in the tournament to cheer and to comment on ongoing tournament? This might encourage people to use English more and at the same time raise the awareness that COTK is an English game as well, derived from it's original non-English version?
Hope this can be taken into consideration.
