Reading this after month and half is making me smiling. Now my average attack is 8411 with two generals having over 8600 (Guo Jia and Jiang Wei) so this is gonna be a piece of cake for me. I just need to do three more levels.

Just got Sun Jian two days ago. This was real joke and pretty easy in fact. As I went through instance one try one pass and most of the time needed only 2 generals (Zhuge Liang + Guo Jia), I won´t write my own strategy, just give here few tips.

My constant formation was : Zhuge Liang (Formidable Troops +11%), Guo Jia (Storm +30%), Sima Yi (Resistance according to type of troops +20%), Sun Ce (rebound damage +27%) and Zhao Yun (Resistance according to type of troops +20%).

Average attack 8500 (Guo Jia 8860 full Immu Suit, Storm + 30%, superlantern, +3+3 Liegeman combo, Tiger 4 SA and Red Armory weapon + Yellow Armory weapon, Lead + 90 Force +97), Average defense 4100, average troops 13500. Zhao Yun had 5 full Immu equip pieces. Attack is buffed by Liu Bei in Battalion. But I think this would be easy even without Liu Bei´s bonus.

The main trick of course was to buff Guo Jia from 4th row of Zhuge Liang. I went through first 8 stages with only Zhuge Liang and Guo Jia. 9th stage I needed Sima to work and in final stage Sun Ce finished Sun Jian, so my Zhao Yun didn´t have to fight at all. People with weaker Guo Jia can try Sima, Zhuge, Guo, Sun Ce, Zhao Yun and try to lock first two NPC´s with Sima, then use Zhuge´s buff on Guo, which should guarantee at least two generals against final bosses.

Definitely go for Sun Jian, it is one of the best generals I ever have in my battalion. I make him into tank so now I have Sun Jian with full Immu suit, 30% Storm and Lead 81 Force 114 (Superlantern, +3 +3 Liegeman combo, Tiger 5 Star Atlas and Red Armory weapon. Once buffed by Zhuge, he is real destroyer.

I'm lv 140 now. Hope to reach 143 in a month or so. But my atk is low just around 7.4k. I will try Smyi Zhuge Gjia formation.

I'm lv 143 now but stucking at sunjian stage8 (HGai). Maybe I'm still weak. My formation: Gjia Zgl Zyun (full immu+storm) Luxun Sunce.

Npc4 is splitter, HGai is dodger like zyun.

First, I wouldn´t use Sun Ce against dodger or splitter. As I can remember your Sima is weak but you can try to lock first one or two NPC with Sima, or get sima in front of H.Gai then after lock him use Zhao Yun´s plains assault as dodger cannot dodge clash damage.

So I would try these (if you insist on Zhao Yun as Immu hero) :

Sima Yi (or Sun Ce), Guo Jia, Lu Xun (firing into splitter), Zhuge Liang (who must block H.Gai), Zhao Yun or

Sun Ce, Zhuge Liang, Guo Jia, Sima Yi (or Lu Xun), Zhao Yun.

I do not know how far you can get if make Guo Jia into tank so try also :

Sima Yi, Zhuge Liang, Guo Jia, Lu Xun, Zhao Yun.

I tried SmYi, Zhuge, Gjia (full immu+storm), Luxun, Zyun. Best try is HGai remain 1 row. I use Plain Assault on HGai but he still can dodge. Since Zyun no storm, it's hard to win HGai, 1vs1.
