The Xiangyang War took place in 202BC, where Liu Bang and Xiang Yu split the Han Dynasty into two separate kingdoms. The war was fought near the city of Xiangyang, hence the name. Liu Bang won and became the first emperor of China, known as Emperor Gaozu.
