I’m one of the investors in FTX, and I lost around 1.5 ETH. My first thought was, of course, “Damn scam!” But as in all ICOs there were a lot of uncertainties. And I considered that maybe FTX just faced with a lot of bad luck: possible failure of the PR campaign or depression and crypto winter.
