What is the software for tracking expenses and income throughout the year?

I've noticed that many of you use spreadsheets, and some use tt to track expenses, income, and tax liabilities. which one is the best and easiest to use? I have one rental and I was wondering if there is anything to download that would be suitable for this, plus just tracking income and expenses.
