Check out Dropbox. It seems to me that this is one of the most underestimated data stores. It's easy to use, and that's a definite plus. But the Dropbox system is also great at protecting the data you upload there. I'm not sure I can describe all its benefits correctly, but go now and read. All applications are best tested in practice, this is true, but I'd advise you to learn about it from the site. Ask your friends what they use besides GDrive. I'm willing to bet you'll be surprised by the answers.
