Title: Anyone Burning The Wood Stove?
Temps dipping into the low 20’s heading towards the teens.

Burning the wood stove and enjoying the heat…

This is a Woodstock Keystone cast iron and soapstone wood stove. Behind the grill at the top is a catalytic combuster and if you look close you can see some orange glow. When the cat gets going, no visible smoke out the chimney and very little creosote left in the chimney when we go to clean it.

This stove resides in our living room…

Anyone burning their wood stove here in December?

I see it's been a while since you’ve posted, but I just wanted to ask if you ever found a solid fix or workaround for the radio cutting out when the key is turned back on. I’m chasing a similar issue and wondering if putting in a relay or maybe changing the power source helped anything. Seems like a common annoyance on these machines.

There's nothing like the warmth of a good wood stove when temps start dipping that low. Love that you’re getting such a clean burn with the catalytic combuster — that orange glow is oddly satisfying to watch, isn’t it?
We’ve got ours going too — not a Woodstock, but it’s pulling its weight this December! Also, good reminder to stay on top of maintenance. If anyone's in the area, fireplace repair cleaning Dallas services are a lifesaver before the burn season kicks into full gear.
