Title: PWS mk216 Trigger [Print this page] Author: Stevyamda Time: 2025-6-17 18:52 Title: PWS mk216 Trigger Question I’ve recently acquired a pws mk216 got it out this weekend and zeroed it with crappy ammo until the good stuff comes in. I would love to change out the trigger to a giessle trigger but i was wondering if there are certain things I need to be aware of for compatibility? I know that the ar10 isn’t quite laid out in stone like the ar15 is where i can practically drop any trigger into my 556 gun a go. Also trigger recommendations welcome im a fan of single stage but I’m open to a 2 -stage for this particular rifle. Author: Jimboscope Time: 2025-6-17 19:08
I see it's been a while since you've posted, but I'm curious if anyone ended up swapping triggers on their MK216 and how it handled over time. I've been toying with the idea of upgrading mine but I'm concerned about reliability under heat and carbon buildup. Anybody using something like a Geissele or Larue in theirs long-term with no issues?Author: JasmineHart Time: 2025-6-17 19:09
I swapped out my mil-spec trigger on the MK216 and noticed a smoother break, but still had to tweak gas settings after that. If you're still looking to experiment, I came across an frt trigger for sale that might work well with your setup, especially since it's known for crisp resets and quick follow-ups. Just double-check spring weights and buffer setup to avoid hiccups.
