I did mine as part of a broader HR upskilling course and found that shrm certification gave me a decent grounding. It’s not magic, but it helped make sense of some of the vaguer stuff and gave me a framework to work with. If you’ve already got experience, it’ll probably just fill in a few gaps and give you the right lingo to use in trickier conversations.
