Title: Is it Worth Buy Lantern with Voucher?
Hi all,
Im confuse with the lantern.
I got 4lantern now. (2super, 2non) without any special skill. All I got from wheel last time.
nowadays wheel really hard to get lantern last time spend 3-5k gold also dont get my last lantern.
as now vcr not so hard to get, Im thinking of buy lantern use vcr 50k.
my chariot at thunder already and horcx near full.
so the point is it worth buy lantern +23 with vcr?

I think you could wait for another wheel if you are VIP player.
COTK sell gold to us, but they dont sell voucher..

Better use gold for wheel, than you buy voucher then buy lantern (best deal)
for 5k gold, assume you only get 28k voucher.

Thats my opinion hehe

Because from my calculation, 5k gold only worth half (30k voucher), but you dont need luck to buy lantern haha by voucher

OMG...guys nowadays 50k vouchers is maybe a two or three weeks of work on Menghuo (if finished 11,5 k), MoH (6,5 k) and Server competition (usually 12-15 k). I would literally NEVER spend 5000 gold to get Lantern from wheel. All of my lanterns ( 5 superlanterns) I bought for vouchers from these events and haven´t spent gold on vouchers. Be patient and you´ll get all.

I like ur opinion, as im not too hight vip, i think should buy with voucher, cause it will no heart breaking like wheel spending gold only got resources. Lol. But some my friends say no need, so i go ask any opinions,
Is it any different from slotted to lantern?

stop spreading half truths. not everyone can get 12-15k in tourney. not everyone is like u in s12 shu(perm elite, winning almost every round in tourney).

Hi WangLieHom, if you are not a heavy spender who can't count on luck, I suggest you buy the lantern with vouchers directly.
There are many events out there that give out free vouchers & if you have patience & participate all, then you will have 5 lanterns in no time.
Trust me. I bought my 5 lanterns with vouchers & I am not from a elite server like S12 Shu, S29 Shu, S1 Wei, S7 Wei, S3 Wu

but i would only buy lantern if i have extra vouchers when saving iron for chariot. ( straight to s. lantern with bowlders to get 3 max). i would prefer to get suits to free up space to refine equipment as they take a long time

for my situation, init gain must be controlled. not wise to get too high init

i got s.bliss , s.phoenix, dragon, devine, beast. only left tiger, savior and kylin. but nowadays 4-5months didnt got the equip even 4stars so hard. sadly no iron to continue chariot

I´m sorry, it´s not half-truth it´s miscalculation, but unintended. Truth is I calculated vouchers from last two server competitions together, so the proper calculation is between 7,5- 9 k vouch/tourney.

And yes, we are a bit exceptional on S12 as we have good play environment.

But back to your remark, even if you do not count the vouch from tourney, in 2-3 weeks you have at least 4-5 Menghuo and at least one MoH event, still enough for getting 50k vouch for lantern.

Though, It requires time, If you spend gold wisely it is possible to obtain 1 g= 10 vcr ratio.

I have all 5 top superlanterns from vouchers, not wheel.
When I collected those 5 superlanterns, I was not VIP.

As non-VIP,
It only took me less than 4 months to buy 5 top lanterns and convert all to superlanterns.

Well,
people at new server usually use jade or slotted.
After they're stronger, they can save vcr for lanterns.
