Purpose of suggestion&feedback when....

GM , can u tell us wads the purpose of suggestion and feedback thread when game content cannot be edited? Many people are suggesting ideas such as food/ro prob but since it wont happen no point players suggest stuff , wasting their efforts. Y cant u just tell us game content cannot be edited instead of "Thank you for ur advice"? Its misleading players and giving  empty hopes
