Answer:
The conditions are that cops statements are always correct while the robbers statements are always false.
a)Mark says that Jack is a cop. False statement and this means Mark is a robber and so is Jack too.
b)Mary says that Tedi is a robber. True statement and this means Mary is a cop and Tedi is a robber.
c)Anna says that Mark is not a robber. False statement since we already determined that Mark is a robber and so is Anna.
d)Jack says that Mary is not a cop. False statement since we already determined Mary is a cop and thus Jack is a robber.
e)Tedi says that Anna and Mark play on different sides. Since it’s been confirmed that both Anna and Mark are robbers, it means Tedi statement is false and that shows Tedi is a robber too.
So there are 4 robbers which are Mark, Anna, Jack and Tedi with only cop is Mary.
