3. Formations is not relevant when fighting in Tourney. There are TWO important things when fighting in Tourney, Lure and Assault. It doesnt matter which route you take, north, mid, or south, if every player in your country knows when to lure and asault, then you are most likely to win (if your opponent doesn't use shadow). If you are not going to use shadow in tourney, then u should lure when your country mate is on the top of queue, and if there is no opponent to lure, then you should asault to the next city, and so on. For player who has gold to cast shadow, he shouldn't lure, but he should asault all the way to the last city near enemy's capital and then cast shadow there to block enemy from asaulting. All has to be done swiftly. Most of the time the newbies just queue in one city waiting for their turn instead of luring and asaulting, and that's what makes one country lose.
