OLD Safe won't open.

[size=11.6637px]I have owned an old safe for many years. I don't know what brand it is, but it is about 4' deep , 3' high., Has a door that swings open in the front the whole width of the box. The combination lock dial is in the center of the door and when It worked, the combination would move 3 large bolts that when from the door into the side of the box. on the left. Combination was a two digit number 3 times to the right, another two digiit number 3 times to the left, another two digit number 2 times back to the right, then take the dial one half turn to the left to another two digit number. the final turn USED to catch something inside and allow me to turn the handle and open the bolts. Do I have any option except oxy acetelene?

If the dial feels rough or doesn’t stop consistently on numbers, there’s a chance the internal components are worn or misaligned. A locksmith might be needed if gentle tapping while dialing doesn’t help.
