[color=oklch(0.43 0.0492 260)][backcolor=oklch(1 0 260)]Hi, I'm a bit lost, I'd like to learn some more useful things in programming besides building a desktop application, I'd like to learn something more useful like those programs that solve more complex problems on the computer or manipulate elements of it, like the app unlock that basically manages to delete any app from your pc regardless of permissions restriction, the live wallpaper that you get by a gif running in the background of your pc or the dependencies wallker that screens a program and tells you which libraries it uses, which area of programming you should study to learn this kind of thing? is there any topic?

have you ever tried embedded development? socs and microcontrollers and the like. very few resources to work with, requiring very low level (or at least close to the metal) programming.

Topics like systems programming, API hooking, or even reverse engineering can get you there. When I was exploring creative tech stuff at a film school in Prague (https://www.praguefilminstitute.cz ), some projects needed custom tools to interact with hardware and software in clever ways.

Exploring fields like machine learning, cybersecurity, or distributed systems can also expand your expertise. Meanwhile, keep an eye on your academic progress by checking your TUT admission status regularly
