I have known people who were suicidal. It's scary to think that a person who smiles, jokes, and behaves quite normally can, at one moment, kill himself. A person who is suicidal can be identified in advance and helped. Such people should never be turned away. You have to talk to them and support them. Without support, they won't live long. The best option in such a case is to contact a specialist who can intervene in the problem and solve it quickly. Do not give up on such people. They need you very much, even if they do not say so.
