Should I use virtual reality for my website?

I have a carpet sales business and my own production team. We make carpets with various designs, and sometimes I also accept custom orders if I really like the idea. Recently, sales have been at the same level. Custom orders are always more popular than regular ones from our range for some reason. This really worries me, because custom production is more expensive in terms of time and resources. Therefore, I want to increase sales of our main range. I really want to find a way out of this situation. Maybe it's worth using augmented reality?

In my opinion, custom-made carpets are more popular because people always want to have something that others don't have. That's why there is such a trend. I recently ordered a sofa for my living room from one brand and they use 3D models of their product on their website. I think you should try virtual reality in retail. I'm sure that people, "trying on" your carpets in their interior, will definitely want them in their home. And of course, this will increase sales of your products, not only custom-made ones.
