Hi! I have been using an AI-powered system for virtual fitting for several months now, and I can tell you that this process is not as fantastic as it seems at first glance. Of course, it is not yet possible to 100% replace a real fitting, but technologies such as FitRoom greatly reduce the number of errors when choosing the size and shape of clothes. How does such a system work? It is quite simple. AI clothes changer uses 3D models of clients to reproduce how clothes will fit on their bodies. These models are built on the basis of entered body data (for example, parameters and body type). The system also analyzes the fabric, its elasticity and expected behavior on a person to correctly show how the item will look on the body. It is important to note that such systems can accurately predict the fit of clothes if the database of models is large and accurate enough. Problems can arise if the clothes have unusual features, such as unusual fabrics (for example, leather or denim) that behave differently than standard materials. But overall, for regular clothing, FitRoom gives very good results. |
