Thanks for sharing such an informative thread. Although you share the benefits of 3D printing on a commercial scale but honestly, the people who are using 3D printers at home are also doing great work. Yes, my brother purchase a 3D printer last month and now he has sleepless nights to print the desired models. Actually, he is a surgeon and willing to print a few medical-related objects and some human body organs. However, this is definitely a complicated task.

Indeed, in his first attempt, he wasn't even aware of setting the right temperature for the filament. Later, he used these temp tower models to know the optimal temperate for objects. However, if I share some advantages of 3D printing then they will followings:

You can quickly print strong and flexible but lightweight designs with 3D printers.
Rapid prototyping and less wastage are also benefits of using 3D printing.
