Career https://kobe-bryant.cz/
In 1996, Kobe Bryant became the first high school player to be drafted directly into the NBA. He was selected 13th overall by the Charlotte Hornets, but was immediately traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in a prearranged deal. When he joined the Lakers, he formed a dynamic duo with the legendary Shaquille O'Neal that won three consecutive NBA championships from 2000 to 2002.
However, the relationship between Kobe and Shaq soon became strained, leading to Shaq's departure to the Miami Heat after the 2004 NBA Finals. When Shaq left, Kobe became the undisputed leader and face of the Lakers franchise. He continued to break records, winning two NBA scoring titles and becoming the youngest player to reach 20,000, 30,000 and finally 32,000 career points.
Kobe had an outstanding high school career
In addition to his success on the court, Kobe was known for his relentless work ethic and competitiveness. He was often praised for his unwavering determination and willingness to sacrifice personal credit for the team's success. Kobe's passion for the game and his commitment to excellence inspired teammates and fans alike.
Kobe's life was tragically cut short in a helicopter crash in 2020, leaving the basketball world and the global community in mourning. However, his legacy as one of the greatest players and most influential figures in NBA history lives on. Kobe's influence extended far beyond the basketball court as he used his platform to inspire and empower people, especially youth, to follow their dreams and reach their full potential.
On February 27, 2011, in a game against Oklahoma, Kobe Bryant broke Elvin Hayes' record and moved into 7th place in NBA all-time scoring. Just two weeks later, on March 9, 2011, he passed Moses Malone for 6th in the league's all-time scoring list after scoring 26 points against the Atlanta Hawks.
Then, on January 2, 2012, Kobe reached a major milestone when he surpassed 28,000 career points in a game against the Denver Nuggets. He accomplished this feat at the youngest age of any player in NBA history.
