I have a reflective journal due next week, but I have no idea where to start. My professor mentioned focusing on critical incidents during clinical practice. How do I even choose a good incident to write about?

Yes, I’ll probably write about an incident where I had to manage a patient’s unexpected reaction to medication. Thanks for the link and tips!

I’ve been there, too! A critical incident could be anything that made you stop and think during your clinical practice. I remember using this service, Nursing Paper, where they even have a section for https://www.nursingpaper.com/our ... reflective-journal/ Their approach helped me figure out how to structure my journal around what I learned during practice. Think about moments where you felt challenged or learned something new. Have you thought about an incident you’d like to explore?
