We're in the market for a new fridge.  I'm pretty sold on the French door, freezer on bottom models (I've had one before), but I don't know if the kind with the external middle drawer is the way to go. Thoughts? If you have an external middle drawer, do you find it indispensable, and if so, why?  (I'm attaching the two styles I'm looking at.   I don't know why one picture is blurry and the other isn't.  Sorry!)

If you’ve got kids or just snack a lot, it’s pretty handy for keeping stuff within easy reach without having to open the whole fridge. I’ve seen people use it for deli meats, cheeses, drinks, or even meal prep stuff to grab on the go.
Only downside I’ve noticed is that it takes up some freezer space, so if you’re tight on that already, it might not be the best trade-off. Also, depending on the model, it might not be as adjustable as the main fridge compartments.
Had a fridge with an external drawer a while back and honestly liked it more than I thought I would. When it started acting up, I got it checked out through musiccityappliance.services instead of replacing it, and it’s been running fine ever since.
