I had a similar issue with alignment once and ended up switching to a different setup altogether. If you're open to alternatives, I came across this tablet press at https://www.urmachine.com/tablet-press-machine which worked well for small-scale, consistent pressing. Might not be for everyone, but for what I needed, it saved a bunch of time and gave me better results than my old hydraulic rig.
I just wanted to ask if anyone’s used one of the cheaper bottle jack presses for general workshop stuff like bearings and bushings? I'm tempted to build one using a 20T jack I’ve got lying around, but not sure how well they hold up with regular use. Anyone still using theirs and happy with it?
