Chests Rewards & Farm Production

Prior to the server merge I didn't have issues with maintaining a ready supply of food.  I would frequently receive between 3 and 4 million in food from chests.  Ever since the merger I am lucky to get 2 million in food from chests and it seems like my farms aren't doing anything at all.  I have asked around in country chat and there are several people experiencing the same issue.  Could you please take a look into this?  Thanks!

food is really an issue after merge..aside from the one you get from chests..the stated hourly production is not giving as it is stated..my farms got current production of 12268 i went offline for 12 hrs.. now that im online my farms should have produced 147216 food already in store..why is it that what i found is i only have 52613 food...thats a shitty 12 hr produce for farms that produce 12k...now these figures i am keen about them because as i said i noticed this food issue after merge and i begun to take notes on it

What device you use? Web? Try to clear your cache.

I use an iPhone 5s to play.  I am noticing people are not playing as often because they have no food.  A few have even stopped logging in at all.  I noticed in another thread someone mentioned changing gold rewards to food rewards or exp rewards.  I believe if you did something to increase the amount of food people earned from events it would go a long way to keeping people playing.

When you play hard like us top players you will see the difference. People are consistently out of food. There is something happening there. IPhone 5s also.
