What is common attack mitigation?

Need help please

Is it no matter how high enemy's attack, they can only damage us that much?

I think it works a bit like Immu, if you have combo with common attack mitigation let´s say +90 and normally you would take damage of 500, with mitigation you´ll take only 410.

Mitigation & Negation both reduce damage.

Mitigation reduce in figures
Eg. Common Attack Mitigation +90 (found in Liegeman combo 1)
If enemy troops land 2000 damage on your troops means only take 1910 damage instead.

Negation reduce in %
Eg. Final Negation Rate: 3.0% (found in Trinket polish)
If enemy troops land 2000 damage on your troops means only take 1940 damage instead.
