Football career
David Alaba impressed coaches with his exceptional talent from a young age. He started his way to the top playing for Aspern, but it wasn't long before he caught the attention of scouts from Vienna club Austria Vienna. At first, Alaba participated in matches with youth and junior teams, but in 2008 he found himself on the bench of the first team.
David Alaba made his debut for Bayern Munich
Alaba's blossoming talent soon attracted the attention of representatives of overseas clubs. One such individual, a scout from Bayern Munich, approached the young player with an offer to join the German club. However, he initially turned down Alaba, admitting that he has a strong dislike for the Munich team as he considers their players too arrogant and pompous.
Bayern Munich's management were undeterred and eventually convinced Alab to make the move. A decision he wouldn't regret, as he discovered that his new teammates were actually warm and welcoming. Their behavior on the pitch was also justified as the coaches at Bayern Munich's renowned academy instilled in their young charges the importance of striving to be the best in every aspect of the game.
Inspired by this mentality, Alaba gave his all in training, often staying behind when his teammates left to further hone his skills. His unwavering commitment did not go unnoticed and it wasn't long before he was invited to first team training sessions.
David Alaba made his debut for Bayern Munich when he was just 17 years and 7 months old, becoming the youngest player ever to feature in an official match for the club. However, during a Bundesliga match against Eintracht Frankfurt, the young footballer made a mistake that ended up costing his team victory. After that, Bayern management decided that Alaba was still too inexperienced and immature and sent him on loan to Hoffenheim.
