just to make sure we understand this , with each burnish , the crystal gains some stats until it upgrades , then it get the full stats , if so , then burnish would be a nice thing

No, it can not be returned back. But when you have crystal, you no longer need gem. Because the upper limit of crystal is higher that of gem in game.

Yes, that is right. Crystal system is added to reduce the difficulty in upgrading high-level gem.

If i understand correctly, what you mean is that if that as I progress through burnishing, i will get proportional stats based on the extent I burnish my crystal.

However, i have one further question then, is the stats gain linear? For example, if I have a level 1 crystal (i.e. lvl 12 gem equivalent) burnish" to about 50%, will it possess the stats that the stats of a level 12 gem, plus the 50% of the stats difference between a lvl 12 and lvl 13 gem?

Yes, that is proportional.

lvl 1 crystal with 1 star plus how many pecent.. 2 stars plus how many percent..
lvl 2 crystal with 1 star plus ..... 2 stars plus...
