1. Water
Cannabis needs water to thrive! There are several parts of the cannabis plant that require water to function properly; roots need water to absorb nutrients from the soil, flowers need water to produce nectar for pollination, leaves need water for photosynthesis, and stems need water to allow for proper airflow and drainage.
2. Light
Light is not only necessary for photosynthesis, but also for energy production throughout the cannabis plant. Cannabis leafs store excess light energy in the form of sugar and starch, while lighting stimulates the production of these stored resources. Without light your plants won't have enough energy to sustain themselves and will begin to wither and die.
3. Air
Air is necessary to help the cannabis grow at optimal levels. Without air flow and sufficient ventilation, the cannabis can become too hot inside (causing stress) and too cold outside (causing damage). Both conditions can cause your plants to go into shock and stop growing completely.
