Asking for advice with this game

So, i recently started working on a series of articles that focus on gaming communities (how they interact, what they discuss on forums, etc). I never had an experience with such kind of articles, usually I found some government topics to write about and called it a day. Now I want to have a full research, based on a people's experience. Can somebody recommend a topic where such experience is shared or, perhaps, share with me yourself?
