When health problems are the main topic of conversation in your family, it is better not to go into medicine. I understand people who make that choice, but I wouldn't do that. All the men in my family have the same genetic disorder. It can't be cured, but you can live with it. Although, I just live with it. My father, my uncle, and my brother devoted their lives to medicine to learn more about treatment. I don't want to do this and sacrifice my interests to the family business. I entered miami.asa.edu for the Crime Justice program. I'll be more useful there than in medicine.
