Magnets are widely used in variousindustrial manufacturing fields because of their characteristics. Many productsaround us may use magnets in manufacturing, such as some toys, packaging boxes, electronic products, etc. So it is also considered that our life is relativelyeasy to contact items, and the magnet itself has magnetic. Many people like tohold it in their hands to play or interact with the surrounding ferrous metal. But in fact, playing with magnets is a safety hazard. The following magnet manufacturer,Haoxiang, shares with you the safe use of magnets. The following four pointsare critical to note.
1. magnets are not children's toys - First of all, the magnetic force between the magnets may bemassive, children can not control it is easy to pinch, and more importantly, the volume of magnets is relatively tiny, so children can easily misuse, misuseof magnets, which may cause severe injuries to children if found immediatelyneed to seek medical attention.
2. Damage to electronic devices - The strong magnetic field of neodymium magnets can damage certain magnetic media, such as credit cards, magnetic ID cards, cassettes, and video cassettes. Cards, cassettes, andvideotapes. They can also damage televisions, computer monitors, and other CRTmonitors. If you have a pacemaker or know of someone with a pacemaker who may comeinto contact with magnets, please call us to discuss your application beforepurchasing. There should be no problem with small electronics such as cellphones, iPods, calculators, solid state drives, and other devices that do notcontain magnetic storage. For safety reasons, please try to avoid close contactwith neodymium magnets. Multi-magnets have a particular magnetic field that isless damaging to sensitive electronics.
3. Avoid multi-magnet fit - do not let these magnets jamtogether with their full force, or they will break and likely send small piecesflying in all directions. Do not attempt to machine or drill holes in themagnets. For standard N40 grade magnets, do not heat them above 176F (80C), asthis will cause them to lose their magnetism. If a high-temperature resistantmagnet style is required, you can specify the requirements with themanufacturer in advance. It is recommended that protective gloves and gogglesbe worn when handling these magnets. Broken magnets have sharp edges. Magnetpowders and particles from broken magnets should not be inhaled.
4. Pinch hazard - Neodymium magnets can pinch very hard, and some of our moregiant magnets can easily break bones. For your safety, do not allow yourfingers or any part of your body to get between the magnets, and please handlethem with care. Thick gloves and goggles are recommended when handling moregiant magnets.
Magnets may seem like harmless little particles, but theirpotential danger is still great, so we'd better be careful when touching themto avoid accidents.
