From what I remember, the early 240z models came with AM Hitachi radios, and then later on, around '71 or '72, they started using AM/FM units. Some people even got cassette players from the dealer back then. When I was trying to figure out what to do with my own car, I thought about just getting a modern hand held radio instead. It’s a nice option if you want to keep the dashboard clean but still have something functional on hand.
