Hi! When I came to the software engineer bootcamp, I thought that the main thing was to learn how to write code. But it turned out to be much more important to understand how systems work from the inside. I remember how we worked on one task for three days - everything seemed to be working, but the system was 'crashing'. It was then that I realized the value of teamwork: someone noticed a memory leak, someone found a problem in the logic, and together we made a solution that withstood a load 10 times greater than the test load. Now, when working on any project, I think not in terms of lines of code, but in terms of architecture and the interaction of components. |
