Is it wise to take children on board?
Taking children on a sea trip is a great opportunity for children to learn more about the sea, nature and life in different places.
However, it is necessary to establish safety rules that need to be explained to children before the trip and reminded of them on board.

You also need to take into account some details:
The distances that the ship overcomes should be short, since children may get bored or they will get seasick. You can shorten the distance by stopping at the shore, then children will be able to play on the beach and swim.
There should be a safety net around the vessel (una red de seguridad), which will not allow you to fall overboard.
If the children are small, they should always wear a vest (un chaleco salvavidas) when going up to the upper deck.
Take care of sunscreen for children.
Immediately make up the rules of behavior on board, for example, do not approach the bow of the boat without adults, do not bend over the side of the ship. They can be decorated fun. Like "rules for pirates".
If the weather conditions are unfavorable, the children should stay in the cabin and not go to the upper deck.
What to take on board?
It is not advisable to take too many things on board, as they can take up quite a lot of space. In addition, it is better not to take suitcases with you, but to take travel bags made of tarpaulin (bolsas de viaje de lona).
In any case, do not forget to take with you:
Light summer sleeping bags (unos sacos de dormir ligeros). They are much more practical than bed linen.
A few towels for the shower and the beach.
Swimsuits.
Comfortable breathable clothing. You also need to bring a sweater and some outerwear (raincoat, jacket or coat). Even if it is quite warm during the day, it can be quite cold in the evening.
Non-slippery shoes with light soles (in no case with black and not on heels). You should not walk barefoot, because when the ship is moving, you can experience pain in your legs.
Sun protection products: headgear, sunglasses, sunscreens with a high level of protection.
Scuba goggles and fins.
Medicines.
Usually, ship rental companies allow pets to be transported on board.
