From new players to veterans looking for bloody trials, the game will provide suitable challenges to everyone. That’s where World Tiers come in.
If players want to get an amount of Diablo 4 gold and experience, rare equipment in the form of Sacred Items, Ancestral Items, and other Unique Items, they need to commit to the challenge at higher World Tiers. So, in this guide, let’s take a closer look at Diablo 4’s World Tiers and how you can make the most of them. Keep reading to learn everything you need to know!

If you’re a new player in Diablo 4 and wondering what World Tier to choose, we recommend going with World Tier 2: Veteran. This difficulty level grants you 20% more experience and 15% more gold when killing enemies, which means you’ll level up faster and have more money for upgrades and useful items.
However, if you’re playing by yourself and prefer a more leisurely pace, you can stick to World Tier 1: Adventurer. It’s easier and enemies won’t be as challenging, but you won’t level up as fast. Ultimately, the choice is up to you, and you can always adjust the difficulty later on if you find it too easy or too difficult.
If you want to switch up your difficulty level in Diablo 4, there are a couple of ways. The first and simplest option is to change the World Tier from the main menu by selecting the “Change World Tier” button on the right side of the screen. But, you won’t be able to do this while in-game.
The second option is to visit a World Tier Statue, shaped like the rogue angel Inarius, in any major city. By selecting it, you can choose a new World Tier and will load into a new instance of Sanctuary. For instance, the World Tier Statue in Kyovashad can be found in the city’s northeastern corner, just south of the Cathedral of Light.
It’s also worth noting that if you’re using Diablo 4 crossplay or multiplayer in general, you’ll need to be in the same World Tier as your friends so you can connect to each other.
That’s everything you need to know about how World Tiers will work in Diablo 4. We hope it can help you get a better experience in the game.
