Hi, just wondered if anyone has their nails done having diabetes type 1 I wasn’t sure if it’s safe or not.

I’ve had gel manicures for a while now, and I always make sure to check the ingredients in the polish and remover. Some salons use acetone-free removers, which can be gentler. The gel nail dryer is something I pay close attention to as well, since different lamps emit varying levels of UV. I usually apply sunscreen beforehand just to be safe, especially since I go pretty regularly.
