What epoxy have you guys had success with? 5 minute epoxies are not real smooth for me. Gel Superglue works, but still not very smooth. Whatever process VMC is using is great. I posted this question a long time ago and there wasn't much feedback. Now that people have figured out the need to seal their hook eyes, can anyone share their experience? Thanks.

I’ve had the best luck with a 30-minute clear epoxy like Devcon or Bob Smith Industries. It gives you more working time, levels out much smoother than the 5-minute stuff, and cures rock solid. Just be sure to spin or hang your lures so the epoxy doesn’t pool.
Also, if you’re doing any molding or using forms, a release agent concrete type product can help prevent sticking to surfaces you don’t want bonded. Makes cleanup way easier.
