Dock build cost

Anyone got recent costs to build pier and dock with boat lift and roof?

Southeast Louisiana around the rigolets.

I’m probably going to build it 14’ above mean high tide and use wood. I’m figuring this high up Keeps it safe except for the worst (Katrina) type storm.

I’d appreciate any input in cost and ideas.

I see it's been a while since this was posted, but I'm curious if anyone has built a dock recently and noticed any big changes in material or labor costs. Prices seemed high a couple of years ago, but have things settled down at all? Also, for those who built their own, was it worth the effort, or would you go with a contractor next time?
