Worst mass-market Halloween costumes

[size=1.25]As a kid, I always sort of looked down on kids who opted to wear some cheap plastic Halloween costume they bought at Woolworth's. I found it distressing that people lacked the creative brio to conceptualize and formulate a costume with originality...my best costumes ever were thrown together at the last minute with whatever junk I happened to have on-hand.
More recently, I've warmed-up to them as kitsch pop-culture relics, especially the ones made to cash in on a flash-in-the-pan trend or TV sitcom. These are a few of my favorite "worsts"----

JOANIE LOVES CHACHI --- Two of TV's most annoying characters got a series. Possibly the worst series ever aired, in fact.

THE VILLAGE PEOPLE "BIKER" --- Yeah, I want my seven year old to look like he's on his way to a gay S&M bar.

HOLMES AND YO-YO --  Mask looks like The Professor from GILLIGAN'S ISLAND with BARBARA STANWYCK eyebrows.
THE INCREDIBLE MELTING MAN -- Not such a pitiful costume, but odd that a quite graphic R rated film would be marketed for kids.
RUBIK'S CUBE -- The idea of being a Rubik's Cube is strange. The idea of
WANTING to be a Rubik's Cube is...disturbing.

KRULL cyclops -- Looks like JOHNNY RAMONE with a tired third eye.

Those cheap plastic costumes with the character's face printed on the smock were the worst! I remember getting one as a kid and being so disappointed. The rubber band on the mask would always snap too. If you're looking for something way better, Here are some awesome choices. Way more detailed and actually worth wearing.
