Let's start this off with Old Bay seasoned Goldfish.

Several years ago, my wife, who is not a big snack person, told me she once tried Old Bay Goldfish and it quickly became her favorite snack - for road trips and such. So, with her birthday approaching, I looked and looked and couldn't find them anywhere, and realized they were a limited edition.

I did finally find them last spring, and she's right. Each cracker tastes like it has a piece of fresh crab meat in it!

But then they sold out again and were gone.

Now, they're back!

Right now, they are on sale at Giant. But they're not advertised. You have to just see them when you're in the store. When you see them, they won't likely be in the regular Goldfish aisle - they will have their own dedicated stand at the end of some random aisle. And the sign will indicate that they are fifty cents off, which means the price is down from $3.49 to $2.99 per bag. A reasonable deal.

However, they've cleverly downsized the bag. In previous years, the bag was 6.6 ounces. Now it's 6.1 oz.

I'm against it.

Nonetheless, I bought some. But when I later looked at the receipt, they gave me an extra dollar off, so the price I paid was only $1.99! No explanation for this.

The 6.1 oz bag is worth at least $1.99.

The best by date is September, 2025.

So I suggest you run to your nearest Giant. Now. This morning. Before they sell out.
