I had no idea. Last Thursday I went in and had a far upper right tooth extracted. I lost the crown and tooth altogether the week before eating popcorn, ugh! I've been pretty much in pain and discomfort ever since. It's now been 8 days and my post op is scheduled for 8am this morning. Dentist said root was very long and it was harder to extract because of nothing for her to grab hold of. Great, I say! Just tired of the continual discomfort. They will eventually give me a single dental implant after healing. No smoking or drinking, they say...so I asked about cursing? I know I'll get through this, but man do I feel sorry for those that have had entire teeth implants. Maybe I'm just a sissy!

If you're dealing with persistent pain even after a root canal, it could be a missed canal, a crack, or lingering infection. I had a similar issue, and after trying different options, I ended up at Colina Dental. They found the real problem and fixed it without unnecessary treatments. Sometimes, getting a fresh set of expert eyes on it makes all the difference. You can visit Colina Dental too if you want a similar experience.
